Chick Tracts have always, simultaneously, gave me a hearty chuckle and thoroughly appalled me.
While the content is - undoubtedly - laughable, one cannot help but be astounded at the number of people that believe the tripe contained therein. It is enough people that Chick Tracts are still widely circulated, and new ones continually published, over forty years after their initial introduction.
One of the things that bothered me the most about Chick Tracts were the blatant lies and misinformation they spread about different groups, practices and belief systems. So I began poking fun at the tracts and creating informational pieces on the ideas Chick attacked; shedding some light on the purposeful misrepresentations presented in the tracts. Those small pieces became this website.
While Jack Chick's overblown beliefs are, in themselves, harmless, the falsehoods he internationally distributes are another matter. People who think they know the truth about what they believe to be "evil" beliefs and practices from reading Chick Tracts do not know the entire story; in fact, the only information they do know is glaringly erroneous.
The purpose of this site is to try and point out the fallacies in Chick Tracts, and to show that hatemongering is not a way to Jesus Christ, or any deity.
